Development Bank of North Macedonia (DBNM) is a development and export bank which strategic goal is to provide support and facilitate the development of the Macedonian economy by providing finance to small and medium-sized enterprises and export-oriented companies.

The bank operates pursuant to the strategic policies, goals and priorities of the Republic of North Macedonia under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance and in accordance with current banking regulations as set out by the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia.

DBNM is responsible for all its assets, while the Republic of North Macedonia guarantees all the liabilities of the bank.

Its main objective is to promote exports through providing credit and other forms of financial support, particularly the development of small and medium enterprises, as well as providing insurance against short-term commercial risk.
