About Export Credit Agency of Bosnia & Herzegovina
The Export Credit Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IGA) is the official credit agency for the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Originally established in October 1996 as a state agency with the goal of implementing World Bank efforts to develop and support the economy post war by issuing guarantees to foreign investors and traders, the focus since 1999 has been on supporting export companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This has been primarily achieved by providing credit and arranging loans for export companies, securing guarantees for agreed-upon transactions abroad, and providing collateral for export and import insurance claims.
